About Your Tutor

Learn English properly, from someone who always has.

Eddie Barber was educated at Repton, one of England's oldest and finest public schools, where proper English — spoken, written, and lived — was simply the air one breathed. Six decades later, it still is. From Repton he went up to the London School of Economics, where he took his degree, and he holds a PGCE, the University of London's postgraduate teaching qualification.

CELTA-certified and endlessly patient, Eddie teaches English that works — clear, confident and correct, from everyday fluency to the precise, well-turned phrase. His students, professionals and families from around the world, come to learn the language; the charm they pick up along the way is complimentary.

Away from the lesson table, Eddie is a qualified personal trainer, and he brings a coach's patience and discipline to every lesson.
