One-to-one lessons for executives and professionals, from a tutor with a degree from the LSE and a proper respect for your diary.
By the time most professionals come to Eddie, their English is not the problem. They have the vocabulary, the qualifications, the title on the door. What they want is the last ten per cent: the confidence to interrupt a meeting politely and be heard, the email that sounds effortless rather than translated, the small talk that turns a contact into a colleague. That ten per cent is the whole job.
Lessons are scheduled across time zones and built from your actual work wherever possible: your slides, your correspondence, the presentation you are dreading. Nothing sharpens a lesson like a real deadline. Discretion is absolute; many of Eddie's students would prefer their colleagues simply to wonder how they got so good.
Eddie took his degree at the London School of Economics and holds the Cambridge CELTA, so the lessons are professionally structured and the examples do not have to be explained twice. His students include finance executives in Shanghai and businesspeople across the Gulf, several of whom now receive compliments on their emails, which they accept with suitable modesty.
Lessons are one-to-one, online in any time zone, or in person in London. Send an enquiry and Eddie will reply personally, usually within a day.
