Every lesson at the Academy is taught by Eddie himself. No rotating staff, no junior tutors, no script — the person who assesses you is the person who teaches you, every time. This limits how many students the Academy can take, which is rather the point.
Charm is not a qualification. Eddie holds the CELTA, Cambridge's teaching certificate, so your lessons are properly structured and your progress is measured — you always know what you are learning and why. It is the difference between someone who merely speaks good English and someone who can actually teach it.
No fixed syllabus, no textbook to plod through. Lessons are made from your level, your goals and your own material: the conversation you need to have, the email that went sideways, the interview next month. You learn the English you actually use.
Beyond the language itself, Eddie can add the things a lifetime of English gives you: the manners, the small talk, the confidence to feel at home in English social and professional life. It is an added extra for those who want it — never a substitute for learning the language well.
Many of the Academy's students are private people preparing for public lives: executives, families, young people bound for British schools. Enquiries and lessons are handled personally and confidentially by Eddie alone.
